Sankari Finnish Lapphunds

We are a small family kennel in Melbourne, Victoria.

I first met Finnish Lapphunds in 2009 and I met Terri of Taigakoira Kennels numerous times before I decided to add my Satu to our family in 2012 when I was offered a puppy from a litter I was excited about, I was instantly attracted to Satu from the litter and hoped she would be the one to come home with me.

Satu and I have had a lot of success in the show ring winning numerous Best Of Breeds, Puppy In Group and had lots of fun together. We have also tried our hand at some Obedience and Herding and thoroughly enjoy ourselves there also.

Our dogs are first and foremost members of the family and included in all activities we do. Please feel free to send us an email, we love hearing from other lappie lovers.

Our prefix "Sankari" is a Finnish word for Hero which we feel is very fitting for our kennel since our Satu has a finnish name for Fairytale and we are heavily into fantasy words and characters!
